Melissa Kemp

Director of Financial Planning Association of Greater Phoenix

With over 22 years of experience in financial planning, Melissa Kemp is the Executive Director of the Financial Planning Association of Greater Phoenix, a role she has held since 2015, following 15 years as an active chapter member.

She is the founder of Premium Administration, LLC, specializing in trust administration, and Premium Organization, an association management company serving nonprofits.

Melissa holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado and began her career in market timing investment management before spending a decade as Vice President of Business Development at a national trust company. She later transitioned to the nonprofit sector, focusing on planned and major gift development.

A leader in ethics education, Melissa serves as a volunteer Hearing Panelist for the CFP® Board’s Disciplinary and Ethics Commission. She also developed the highly regarded ethics course "A Pragmatic Walk Through the Ethical Looking Glass," helping shape the Board’s new Ethics Course.

An avid adventurer, she has hiked Machu Picchu, Everest Base Camp, the Grand Tetons, and Copper Canyon, and in 2009, she set her sights on summiting Kilimanjaro.
